광기: 시대에 따른 변화
현대의 광기는 비이성적인 면을 강조한다. 일반적으로 부정적이며, 미친 상태를 일컫는 정신병이다. 하지만 역사적으로 광기는 예술과 주로 접목되어 상상력, 창조성, 천재성과 연결되어 있다. 이번 프로젝트는 미셸 푸코의 철학을 바탕으로 제작했다. 그가 말하는 시대별 광기를 표현했다.
RENAISSANCE
The Renaissance madness felt as a being approaching God, a sacred being; hence a person of madness was very dearly valued, and the madness of that time was considered a religious meaning.
르네상스 시대의 광기는 신에게 다가가는 존재, 즉 성스러운 존재로 느꼈다. 따라서 광기를 가진 사람을 매우 소중히 여겼으며, 그 시대의 광기는 종교적인 의미로 여겨졌다.

In the classical era, madness was subject to imprisonment for the reason that it was not laborable; it was considered antisocial and criminal; thus, it was imprisoned and punished along with beggars, criminals, lazy, and homosexuals. Michelle Foucault regarded the reason as a view of work at the time of the importance of labor.
고전시대에는 노동을 할 수 없다는 이유로 감금의 대상이 되었다. 반사회적이며 범죄로 여겨졌고, 따라서 거지, 범죄자, 게으름뱅이, 동성애자와 함께 감금당했고 처벌받았다. 미셸 푸코는 그 이유를 노동력을 중요시 했던 당시의 직업관으로 여겼다.
